Yup, still here.
Hello to our loyal visitors. Just a reminder that we're still here building Asian Cinema Drifter. It takes a long time to add every movie ever to our database, but we are working on it, so stick with us. A plethora of reviews will be coming soon after we finish. Feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions about the site!

Database assemble!
Sorry about the lack of reviews for today. We just started building our database so I have been busy adding tons of movie pages to the site. Eventually, we'll have a very solid set of all the Asian film listings you could want, so stay tuned.

Three more reviews
Greetings visitors, I've uploaded three more reviews today: Project A, Dachimawa Lee and The Wild Wild Rose. Looking at that side panel, I feel like I've been reviewing too many good movies and classics lately. As great as that is, I weirdly miss tearing into some poor unsuspecting film. Perhaps that will be soon, we'll see.

Howdy.
So I've been adding reviews this week, just haven't been making an actual news post. But as you can see... Okinawa Rendez-vous, Swing Girls, Love and Pop, The Big Boss and Fist of Fury have all been added. I'm sure Bruce Lee fans can guess what's next. For everyone else, it's yet another exciting mystery to discuss for hours with your friends until my next update.

New things..
Howdy all. If you are an old visitor of Asian Cinema Drifter, you probably will have noticed the change in reviews--in both content and quantity. Well, basically, ACD has done a bit of growing in the last years and writing styles have changed, so much to the point that there would be a weird discrepancy between the three year old writing and current ones. One of the main goals here is to maintain a certain level of consistency in our reviews because one reviewer can be wild and random enough, so why complicate it by throwing more into the mix?
So, I've taken a really long way to tell you all that the reviews are being re-added to the site gradually, and the first batch of 100 are nearly done and available for your enjoyment. The next batch should be up in the coming months along with reviews for a slew of films from the New York Asian Film Festival, Park Chan-wook's long awaited 'Thirst' and only the Lee Byung-hun scenes in GI Joe. Also, look forward to new features being added, including our very own database of films, which we hope to be an Asian Film IMDB with hi-res media, cast/crew information and trailers galore. Get ready!

Your lives are now complete.
Yes.
After our impromptu hiatus, Asian Cinema Drifter is finally returning to review Asian films, fulfill your lives and save the world in one broad stroke. We're back with improved reviews, a beautiful-- slightly redone site, and a promise of a whole lot more content in the coming months. We're in the process of building a youtube channel that will hopefully house the largest possible collection of trailers we can muster. And of course, the caption contest is back for those of you who seek eternal glory.
Webmasters: we are always open to a link exchanges and any ideas for partnerships. Everyone else: we would love to hear any feedback you guys may have for us.
We'd highly appreciate any effort to spread the word of our return to old visitors and new Asian film fans alike. Set your bookmarks and we hope to see you soon.
