One day two young men - Jae-hyun, the grandson of village undertaker JANG Pan-dol, and newcomer PAN Chul-gu - set foot in Nakchunmyun, a rural village where nobody has died for the last 10 years. As nothing works out for Chul-gu, even suicide, he accepts the craft of undertaking as his fate. He pushes Jae-hyun into the funeral business when the younger man attempts to turn his grandfather’s lifelong occupation into a commercial electronic gameroom. One day the two men receive a phone call that informs them that the village’s wealthy widow committed suicide…
