Joon-young and Yeon-hee have a blind date. Joon-young, a part-time lecturer in English literature, is intelligent and has good manners. Yeon-hee, a designer, is sexy and provocative. They spend time having hypocritical small talk, watch a movie, and then decide to go drinking. After becoming very drunk and staying out after all public transportation has stopped, they agree that paying for a motel will be cheaper than taking a taxi home. They go to a motel and have sex. As weeks pass, they continue to see each other, but they discover that they have opposite ideas about marriage. As Yeon-hee looks for a “suitable” husband, they each come up with their own reasons why they shouldn't marry each other…
