Ji-suk, a college student studying Korean Language & Literature, pretty much lives inside his books, going back and forth from his home and the library. One rainy evening, Ji-suk runs into an old junior high classmate, Hee-jin, now a beautiful, petite hairdresser. Ji-suk continues to run into Hee-jin by chance. One day, Hee-jin suggests they 'go out', but just for a month. Before he knows it, Ji-suk is Hee-jin's boyfriend. The two spend more and more time with each other and they begin to fall in love. Hee-jin is charming and always cheerful. Everything is going well until Sung-hae, Ji-suk's first love, shows up. And Hee-jin is hit with some distressing news that she cannot share with anyone.
