Romance between a Girl from a Noble Mafia Family in Hong Kong and an Innocent Korean Gangster The previous films of the series captured the audience with dynamic action scenes and threw them into laughing convulsions with episodes of a female gangster getting married. The previous stories were all focused on a gangster becoming a wife. But “My Wife is a Gangster 3” abandoned the old plots and features a totally new and more exciting story about a romance between two gangsters – a woman from Hong Kong and a man from Korea. Their positions in each group are also different; the Hong Kong woman Aryoung is the successor to the boss of a mafia family, whereas the Korean man, Ki-chul, gets no respect from his gang and has no fighting experience. What’s funny is that Ki-chul gets an order from his boss to protect the Hong Kong woman. Since they speak different languages, Ki-chul employs a translator, but all she does is cause more trouble than translate. Different from the previous movies, “My Wife is a Gangster 3” has sparked people’s curiosities particularly about how the story will end with the romance between the two unique characters.
