More reviews, hooray.

A review for a couple semi-old films have been added. The Infernal Affairs sequel and the early Wilson Yip romance, Leaving Me, Loving You. More Wilson Yip reviews should be coming soon, including SPL and Ip Man.

New things..

Howdy all. If you are an old visitor of Asian Cinema Drifter, you probably will have noticed the change in reviews--in both content and quantity. Well, basically, ACD has done a bit of growing in the last years and writing styles have changed, so much to the point that there would be a weird discrepancy between the three year old writing and current ones. One of the main goals here is to maintain a certain level of consistency in our reviews because one reviewer can be wild and random enough, so why complicate it by throwing more into the mix? So, I've taken a really long way to tell you all that the reviews are being re-added to the site gradually, and the first batch of 100 are nearly done and available for your enjoyment. The next batch should be up in the coming months along with reviews for a slew of films from the New York Asian Film Festival, Park Chan-wook's long awaited 'Thirst' and only the Lee Byung-hun scenes in GI Joe. Also, look forward to new features being added, including our very own database of films, which we hope to be an Asian Film IMDB with hi-res media, cast/crew information and trailers galore. Get ready!

Your lives are now complete.

Yes. After our impromptu hiatus, Asian Cinema Drifter is finally returning to review Asian films, fulfill your lives and save the world in one broad stroke. We're back with improved reviews, a beautiful-- slightly redone site, and a promise of a whole lot more content in the coming months. We're in the process of building a youtube channel that will hopefully house the largest possible collection of trailers we can muster. And of course, the caption contest is back for those of you who seek eternal glory. Webmasters: we are always open to a link exchanges and any ideas for partnerships. Everyone else: we would love to hear any feedback you guys may have for us. We'd highly appreciate any effort to spread the word of our return to old visitors and new Asian film fans alike. Set your bookmarks and we hope to see you soon.
